How to check that nothing is uploaded

- Open your browser's developer tools and select the Network tab.
- Convert a photo. Watch the request list.
- You will see the page, the decoder, and nothing else. No request carries your image, because there is no server to send it to.
- For the stronger test: load this page, turn off your wifi, then convert. It still works.
